Sledding With No Snow

How I can know if my ribs are broken or something wrong with me?
I am not stupid, but I really have no idea about body parts or whatever. I went in the sleigh snow near the summit of Sierra the past weeks and I made a total of 360 and landed in the ribs, at least I think it's my ribs … I think is not broken, but I do not know what is wrong with me. I also dislocated my shoulder, but is okay now, but I realized that I have a huge bruise on my left rib and it hurts really bad .. powerful, moving, picking up my arms. and I also noticed the breathing is quite difficult as well .. I want to go to the doctor, but I have no insurance or money to see it and do not want to waste money on something so minor, so does anyone know what it is .. it really hurts. .
You probably broke the ribs. The good news is that there is nothing to do for them. I broke four of my ribs in a car accident many years ago. The difficult part is the third day after a rib fracture which is the day that hurts most. I really do not think anything was broken until I woke up on the third day after the accident and tried to get out of bed. It hurt like a mother. Anyway just to avoid laughing and people who want to make you laugh because that's when it really hurts. Take some Advil or Aleve to relieve pain and was fine. I feel for you, because I know what you're going. It takes about four to six weeks for the ribs to heal. Acute pain begins to disappear in a week or ten days as the bones heal.
