We ski, sled dog and enjoy a White Christmas in the U.S. or Canada – can you help?

We are from Australia and want to enjoy a white Christmas abroad. I heard that Colorado is ideal for any skier, powder large and long winding paths. I also sledding dog-sled rides, etc. Anyone know about skiing in U.S. or Canada, when is the best time to go, weather, and places to stay. We would like 3 or 4 star accommodation, probably ski in / out.

Colorado Ski all is good, but of all the places I've been dogsledding Steamboat is the best. Rememver I can not name the place, but on the way from the airport into Steamboat Hayden. were only a few places, but this place let (an adult or an older child) to be the musher. It was awesome. We were 12 miles from me "driving" and my children on the sled. I'll definitely go there new. they also have tours on snowmobiles that rock out there too.
