Santa Sledding Game

There are many Christmas traditions that are slowly losing in today's high-tech, always-on-the-go world. But Christmas is the perfect time to delay aa return things and the basics to really enjoy the season. The following are three ways to have a traditional, old-fashioned Christmas.
1. Decorations
For many people, the decorations are what make Christmas special time. The right decorations can set the mood for a traditional Christmas and let all family involved in creating the spirit of Christmas.
Start with an old Christmas tree. Traditional decorations were handmade. Take a day in early December to get the whole family together to create the decorations such as popcorn strings and chains made of colored paper. Play Christmas music, serve eggnog and get everyone in the spirit.
Check your local savings or antique shop some of the old decorations. Wax or glass blowing ornaments were common in recent years, and often there are some good examples to be found in thrift stores for almost nothing.
You can also search for old cans with Christmas themes. These are large and sweet fruit dishes.
2. Baking and Cooking
Baking and cooking almost tie in the second to the Christmas tree to set the mood for Christmas. Cookies, cakes, and hot cider are all basic elements of an ancient celebration Christmas.
The whole family can participate – even non-bakers. They can help decorate sugar cookies or gingerbread men. Children can help to reduce cookie shapes before they are baked.
3. Christmas Day
There are plenty of traditions that Christmas Day can help create old fun. Find someone with Santa Claus and deliver gifts to everyone in the family.
That time of sharing special gifts. Not only tear them en masse, to give everyone the opportunity to open separately. This gives everyone a better opportunity to show their appreciation, and people get to see their reactions.
If you lucky enough to have a white Christmas, take some time of day to go sledding or have a snowball. Above all, serve hot cider or hot chocolate.
These family traditions can be passed from generation to generation, with each adding their own extras.
